Since its beginning, Regalía de Ollauri winery has always searched for research, development and Innovation as a key point to implement the quality of its products. This permanent search is one of its main identity signs and is present throughout the whole vinification process.
In order to carry out research projects, the winery has an own department that works closely with official institutions such as La Rioja Government or CDTI.
Regalía de Ollauri Winery has gained the local government´s recognition thanks to its commitment to implement R&D&i in every process, as proved by the Award to Innovation 2007 for “successfully combining tradition, innovation and sustainable development”.
Nowadays, Regalía de Ollauri Winery teams are fully committed in the development of a new R&D&i project whose goal is to obtain “functional” wine containing the highest levels of healthy components -resveratrol-.
Regalía de Ollauri Winery has four officially recognized Quality Certificates as acknowledgment of our commitment to quality management and safety of our products.
These certificates are ISO 22000 and ISO 9001, together with British Retail Consortium (BRC) Technical Regulations and International Food Standard (IFS). Besides obtaining these four certificates simultaneously, these were achieved in less than one year, a record which shows the capacity of Regalía de Ollauri Winery to adapt and even overcome market demands beyond prove. ISO 22000 Food Safety Management Certificate allows constant improvements in the safety of our wines during various manufacturing phases. Meanwhile, ISO 9001 Quality Management Certificate -also applying to other industries- was designed to optimize and improve each and every work processes through constant evaluation.
On the other hand, British Retail Consortium (BRC) Technical Regulations and International Food Standard (IFS) include safety and hygiene requirements for food industries to sell their products abroad. Fulfilling these requirements proves the safety of foods and efficacy in every step of the supply chain.
